When it comes to side loader garbage trucks, it is not enough to mon­i­tor just the area at the rear. The emp­ty­ing pro­ce­dure is a par­tic­u­lar source of risks. That’s why we have devel­oped an under­run pro­tec­tion sys­tem specif­i­cal­ly for side load­ers which makes it almost impos­si­ble to enter the dan­ger area when dump­ing is in process. That way, our sys­tem pre­vents acci­dents which in the past were a com­mon occur­rence with passers-by and cyclists.

We are the only man­u­fac­tur­er offer­ing an under­run pro­tec­tion sys­tem with emer­gency stop func­tion based on 3D tech­nol­o­gy. With a 180° mon­i­tor­ing area and indi­vid­u­al­ly adapt­able detec­tion zones, the ULS sys­tem cre­ates new options for detect­ing per­sons, and can thus pre­vent haz­ardous sit­u­a­tions in advance.

Ide­al for you: The ULS sys­tem is part of our ViSy safe­ty con­cept and can be retro­fit­ted on vehi­cles at any time. More­over, it is com­pat­i­ble with our rear area mon­i­tor and the turn­ing assistant.

The 3D underrun protection system

Das 3D-Unterlaufschutzsystem wurde speziell für Seitenlader und Müllwagen entwickelt.

The under­run pro­tec­tion sys­tem is designed specif­i­cal­ly for refuse col­lec­tion vehi­cles with lifter arms which can be par­tic­u­lar­ly haz­ardous to passers-by when lift­ing and low­er­ing garbage cans.

Das 3D Rückfahrsystem von ViSy reduziert die Gefahr beim Rückwärtsfahren. Für mehr Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr können Sie Ihre LKWs mit der praktischen Rückfahrkamera nachrüsten.

Our tech­ni­cal tool for con­sid­er­able reduc­tion of haz­ards when revers­ing. The speed which is lim­it­ed to 9 km/h, and the intu­itive sys­tem make sure the dri­ver can react in good time – or the assis­tant inter­venes into con­trol of the vehi­cle itself.

The turning assistance system 

Der Abbiegeassistent vergrößert beim Abbiegen den Sichtbereich des LKW-Fahrers.

The assis­tant expands the mon­i­tor­ing area of the vehi­cle oper­a­tor and makes sure that no objects or per­sons are over­seen in bends, when mak­ing a turn or when turn­ing the vehi­cle around.
